The Victor Valley SDA School has quite a history! It was established in 1943 to serve the Seventh-day Adventist students and other Christian students of the High Desert. It was originally located at the Seventh-day Adventist Church site on the corner of A Street and Hesperia Road. Later, the school was moved to Center Street Park where an addition provided for three classrooms. In 1985, the school was moved to its present beautiful 20-acre site in Greentree East between Crestview Drive and Montecito Drive. It is our school "on a hill" overlooking the beautiful desert below.
It's been a very exciting time for us at VVSDA! For the past two years, the school has undergone a significant renovation. All four classrooms, two bathrooms, school office, kitchen and library have all been updated. We appreciate all the countless volunteer hours and money donations we received and we look to our bright future ahead!
The Victor Valley Seventh-day Adventist School family exists to show children Jesus, nurture their love for Him and others, teach them to think, and empower them to serve.
The Victor Valley Seventh-day Adventist School is operated by the Seventh-day Adventist Church to provide a spiritually oriented education for children. A belief in the existence of the Creator God is fundamental in the philosophy of Seventh-day Adventist schools. We respect His divine authority and recognize His intervention in human affairs. We believe that true education develops the spiritual, mental, and physical powers of each student; preparing them for the joy of service in this life and for the higher joy of service in the life to come. To achieve this goal, we encourage each student to:
- develop a personal relationship with God and his fellow men as stated in Matthew 2:37-39
- master the basic academic skills
- value labor, physical and mental, as the blessing God intended
- cultivate physical fitness, mental ability, and moral purity as the blessing God intended.
The Victor Valley Seventh-day Adventist School operated in harmony with the guidance and direction of the Office of Education, North American Division of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.
